Frank & Patty!

Episode Two - The Banana Bread

Welcome To Episode Two of LIVE with Frank & Patty!

This episode was quite a blast because unlike our first show (where we made a simple box mix of brownies), this time we had NO IDEA what we were making! Thanks to our producers Margie we were in for a big surprise when we whipped off the sheet to reveal ingredients to make...Banana Bread!! And boy oh boy, do we ever love bread and bananas, especially when they're together. And of course throughout the show, since this is live television, hilarity ensued! We hope you have as much fun watching this episode as we did making it. You can also find our recipe from today's show down below! Whoa! We're rhyming now! If you would like to be notified of when we're going to do our next live show, follow our production company page on Facebook  or on Youtube!

Part One - The Baking:

Part Two - The Eating:

Chocolate & Peanut Butter Chip Banana Bread

"This is the best banana chocolate chip peanut butter banana bread I eva did eat. Yum"

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium, overripe bananas
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil (or coconut oil)
  • 1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1-1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate & peanut butter chips

Tools You Will Need:

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Mash the bananas until mostly smooth.

Mix in the egg, sugar, vanilla, and oil, mix well. Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Only mix until the batter forms. Fold in the chocolate chips using a rubber spatula.

Pour batter into a greased loaf pan. A standard loaf pan will need to bake for about 45 minutes. Baking time will vary depending on the size of the loaf pan. A toothpick should come out clean before the removing the bread from the oven.
Let cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing.

If you like whipped cream like Marge does, slap some cream up on there!

And Enjoy!
